This game is the first group project until now, this class “Rules of game” let us understand the whole pre -process of how to making a game.
From the beginning , we used “Paper model” to design our game, including map, character, HUD, playing style. Based on that, we could hugely save the time and money to make the game, and we easily modify the part is not so fun at this process.
In the middle, we three people coop, each other is in charge a major part, and while we finish our part, we will help each other and merge our code together. I have to admire that Unity package function is really powerful for us to merge easily, we could just update the package, export, and import to finish our job.
The third part and most important part is the “Tester”, based on the Christmas period was coming, we could only test around 10 people to play our game and give the suggestions.This process we could learn how to improve our game from other people’s view, because we will be blind from the designer’s view, and we could dramatically take other’s opinion to increase our game quality.
Final part is the presentation, although the audiences is not much, but we could understand how to present a game type presentation. At first, we will introduce our game, and the most interesting part was inviting audience to play your game on the stage, and we could get so much feedback during this process. This prototype will bring to the next month class, and we will make it real life next month.
